Bug I painted when I was 16. someone couldn't live without it so now it's gone. It was fun while it lasted!

So far, I would have to say this Super Beetle convertible, greatly improved with progressive springs and disc brakes. I suspect I will be singing a different song when I get that 914 put together.

I put 300,000 miles on that car, drove it about 20 years

Miss my 1967 Austin Healey 3000. Should have kept that one.

After that was a 1961 Jaguar XK-E.

'72S...it was both my favorite and a nemesis...favorite for many years, nemesis once it became desireable to porcupine quill people.

So...all good things must come to an end.

The new "favorite"

Maybe my early '70s Ford Escort. I was just so wow-ed at the time to have a car that was so much better than an Austin A40 or a Mini.

I do LOVE the SC but the Escort had a big impact on me.

The 944 n/a I still have. Even more than my dearly departed 951 (which burned up) and my 911 (which I haven't driven enough to really get addicted to). The 944 and I have been through a lot together and it's always been fun. I'll keep it until I die.

also the worst car i ever owned...

love / hate thing, i loved it, then i learned to hate it... And then i was glad to be rid of it, even when i was still paying for it when it was gone...

'65 Mercedes 190C. That car was just such a fun cruiser.

Although, the TR4 is a close 2nd place.
