i won the football pool but dont watch FB
i have won the college football pool 2 out of 4 times here at work, and yes i admit it, i dont watch football. i think i only won it once or twice last year but the years before i have cleaned house, and i love it because they all get on the net and analyze stats and who beat who and who is hurt. it just makes it even more bitter sweet to take their money. now at the worst i can will have won $25 if i dont win again, but for the overall wins i have 54/80, the next closest person is at 40/80.
for $1 i will tell my strategy....hey times are tough all right, here it is, it is on the honor system. based on the points spread: 0-4.5 pick the underdog (un) 13:7 5-6.5= fav 7:3 7-11.5=un 14:3 12 to 21 i had to increase my odds because i was only getting 50/50. so, pick the away team, that is a 13:9 ratio. 23+ = un, 5:2 i have waaaay too much time on my hands....at work  one year i picked the team that was first alphabetically

i cleaned house.....AGAIN! its all pure profit now.
16 out of 20 right. i have not looked at the sheet, but i am sure my new way of picking the teens made the difference. i have a total of 70, second place is 47.

Fascinating! I could have used your picks in college. Had to sell my Fender Telecaster to pay "Tangerine" ... a sad day indeed.

Our office poll this week was won by a women that doesn't watch or know anything about the teams. She picked 18 of 19 winners in both NCAA and the Pros.

one year i choice by who was first in the alphabet. $117 net so far. every little bit helps the rebuild.

another win. that makes 3 in a row. i actually felt bad. its not longer fun. the money is nice, almost $200 total now. its no longer a challenge.
