If that slantnose got down to $10k, I'd consider it. I hope most of the damage is just decals...

I've always thought there should be a charitable organization that buys these things and either restores them to some semblance of tastefulness or destroys them with liberal applications of thermite.

Kinda like a "rescue" for cars? Would they then adopt them out?

some of these customs would be tolerable if they just didnt put the ridiculous paint schemes and graphics on them. I really hate to see anyone alter the lines of a 911. slants I like but leave it at that.
Someone posted a 356 a while back that looked like the back half was almost morphed into a 911. I actually liked it. There was a another 356 coupe that had fender flares and wide wheels. It looked good. I only hope these cars were in bad shape before they started.

So what it isn't Concours, backdated or even standard, somebody put some work into it and was proud of the effort and I know somebody else will think it is something special. Not me but so what.

I bet if I went into some of your homes I could pick out some pretty tacky shyt that is yard sale worthy. I wouldn't cuz its poor form to do so.

Some of you guys have to lighten up. Its just a freaking car. A thing. A toy...thats about it.

Down boy. It's the internet. I'm sure that the majority of us would find something nice to say in person, regardless of true opinion.
