It's Friday - what ya drinking?

I always enjoy this thread. Well, what ya having tonight? Me? This afternoon I am going to have a cold beer and finish up some paperwork for the week. Pick up my boy, meet Momma at the gym, get a workout in and then the fun starts. We are going to the local micobrewery for some fine ales and dinner. After dinner we will have a couple of red bulls and vodka while we put the kids to bed. Then maybe open a bottle of red, sit out on the deck and watch a storm roll in. You?

The weather forecast for the San Gabriel Valley is calling for 105+ degree temperatures. To add to the misery, we are flanked by 2 forest fires right now. Therefore, I am enjoying a HUGE jar of sun tea at this time. Tonight is Paco's for dinner and one frosty Margarita on the rocks. Mike

Had a 2007 Châteauneuf du Pape which accompanied a geranium flavored roasted lobster tail, with white beans broth, emulsified shell juice, and pistachio oil while having dinner at the Michelin starred Hotel Europe in Avignon, Provence, France. After dinner we had Pastis as we enjoyed the sunset over the Palace of the Popes. Great start to the weekend.

Summernights are getting shorter so the family and I will be taking the boat out to our fave restaurant where I will be having a Greygoose martini and a brick-oven pizza. Yum.

Avignon weekend. Doesn't get much better. Beautiful hotel. Next to the opera house, correct? Perhaps I will open a Chateauneuf, which we bought in the cave in Chateauneuf. What a glorious countryside!

I don't get the point of "light beer". Seems like it is neither.

You're doing it wrong. Keystone first, then Dos Equis. Why ruin an OK thing.

After a useless 2 hours at the DMV trying to get son's license (their computer link to Austin went down when we were 6 people away ), I calmed down with a martini. Now I'm easing into beer.
