Spoonheads look inside.

Going thru some old stuff at a job site and found a Mossberg 352KB .22 rifle. Been reading this afternoon about them. Early 60's manufacture and 7 round mags (it has a spare) and I guess these are somewhat dangerous as they will go full auto or misfire with the bolt not fully closed.

This rifle has been in its soft case so long that the fuzzy lining is stuck to the stock. Otherwise in near perfect condition. But not very well made, right?

Any direct experience with these? I'm guessing value at over 100, less than 200.

No completed auctions on GB, one on GB with no bids and an opening price of 165.

I'd check on rimfirecentral.com - they have a mossberg specific forum. May be worth more as parts than as a shooter.

I'd give it a good cleaning and see what it will do.

we have one at the shop and we all were pretty alarmed that it would fire with the bolt only partially closed. I cleaned it well and it still did it. I took it apart and inspected it and it still did it. After this post I'm thinking of giving it a "Do not shoot" sticker. Thanks, looks like a common problem. You are spot on with the pricing, ours is $169.00.

I think I'll disable this thing and dispose of it. The people in the world aren't getting any smarter. I'd hate to see someone get hurt.

You could always weld it up and use it/sell it as a display piece.

sell it as parts. Or give Numrich a call and they will buy it from you for parts. A lot of useful parts in there. I think you are wise not sell it complete though. You could be liable.
