You are one lucky bastige. Often when I fail to stop and assist another motorist, it is because I am simply not able to process and stop fast enough. Many times, I am already far gone before I figure out that I could have helped.

Knowing full well that this is going to come back and bite me, if I'm driving 75 mph and I've got a cop behind me and I see you thumbing a ride I speed up to 85. If I see Ingo I go to 95. If I see you both I get out of second and really take off.
