Aretha Franklin wouldn't have had a prayer in today's music market. This makes me wonder how many great voices go unheard.

You mean because of how she looks now? She looked fine when she started out and hit it big. Now, if she's wearing an overcoat, she looks like she's smuggling Volkswagens.

I stood behind Lemmy at the Southwest ticket counter at LAX three yrs. ago. He looks a lot better in that photo than he did up close. He's a legend, but I don't think he's much of a singer or a bassist.
