Airplane Hijacked in Cancun!

Mexican Airplane Hijacked Out of Cancun, Flown to Mexico City Airport

DEVELOPING: A Mexican passenger jet was hijacked Wednesday from an airport in the resort city of Cancun on Wednesday and flown to Mexico City, where the hijackers reportedly have released the passengers and crew members.

At least three men have been detained, according to local Mexican television reports.

The hijacked AeroMexico plane, a Boeing 737, landed safely and is on the runway at the airport, according to Mexico's Transport Minister Juan Molinar. Mexican security forces are at the airport.

The hijackers, reported to be at least three men of Bolivian citizenship, have threatened to blow up the plane unless they are allowed to speak to Mexico's President Felipe Calderon, according to Mexican media, and local TV reports said that there are explosives onboard the plane.

The plane was carrying 104 passengers and was bound for Mexico City, according to Mexican network, TV Azteca.

I hope Mexico deals with its terrorists better than we deal with ours.

I recommend a sniper with a .50 BMG from about 200 yards. Better still, three snipers (one for each) with .50 BMGs. Think Somali pirates (just without all the bureaucratic red tape to finally get a "green light").

Looks like the passengers are all free, crew still held.

Those guys just wanna tell Calderon to make sure they get picked to be on "Mexico's Got Talent." Why not? Hijacking can be their talent.

If no one is on the plane just let them blow it up, and bring marshmallows.
