i sleep days. tonight is my last graveyard shift....hell yes!

well anyways, back to the crazy cat. i was in deep deep sleep. REM, dreaming about Padma..nevermind. well, i have to sleep with earplugs because the neighbors have one volume...scream. my earplugs are the kind with a tether between the two plugs. i cut the tether, jammed them in and passed out. well, the cat, wanted the earplugs, from my ear, and attacked my ear. first it was trying to lick/bite them out...then the claws. i woke up and screamed...i thought it was a wild animal...i admit, i may have piddled alittle bit. i almost punted the cat into the wall. i yanked the earplug, tossed it to the cat, and she batted it away happily. how long do cats live?

Cats are a riot - I can't count how many times I've been awakened by mine walking on me, licking me, meowing at me incessantly, etc. trying to get me to get up and tend to their dining needs.

They do always seem to get their way though - and they're spoiled rotten with toys and stuff.

Love it, one of mine lived for 22 years... I have had a few that didn't like my girlfriends (cats were smarter than me there) and would climb between us & try & push them away...

I love cats but one day my GF's cat woke me up. I was in the middle of a deep sleep and awoke to see a 9' X 9' cats face in my feild of view. It turned out he was sniffing my nose to see if I was still alive I guess.

I often wake up when one of mine figures my face is a nice place to lay down on , to nap.
Usually the look i get from the cat is "Dude, can't you see i'm trying to sleep, lay still gdammit!"
