location, location, location

We've been looking for the perfect acreage on which to build our "little bit of heaven" and think we may just have found it. What do you say? Here's the view —from left to right...

I would have no problem looking at that everyday. Any thoughts on the design of the house?

How far do you have to drive to get groceries or go to work?

How cold does it get & how far to the closest liquor store & bar???
Any good family pizza joints near??

A view to kill for... A clear enough area for a nice shop???

Pub and liquor store are ten minutes away.

Groceries and all of the amenities are 20 minutes away.

Lots of space for shops and such.

I work at home.

The climate is sunny and benign. Perfect in other words.

Lots of pizza joints 20 minutes away.

I think we may have to pull the trigger on this.

location location

that looks like BC ferry terminal on Vancouver island. Schwarzbay
Rain, rain and more rain in winter time and living on Salt spring island is like living in an hippy community.
lived there and could not get of the island fast enough. 16 years on the rock was long enough.

Absolutely stunning. Almost surreal! How many acres and if you don't mind saying, roughly how much does a view like that cost?

Looks fantastic! Only you can assess how the location fits your particular needs, but for me that view would make up my mind.

Between this and your Mustang thread, I'd say that you don't suck at life.

Nice going.

Any spare rooms?

Very nice. I love BC. Funny, when I was there a few years ago in August, the climate wasn't much different from L.A.

That is, weather climate.

The human climate was much different.

The people in BC were actually friendly.

Excellent choice. Orcas is fabulous. The most pastoral of the Gulf Islands.
