He seems like kind of a crybaby to me.

It's similar of Dale Earnhardt Jr. in that his dad was a legend and he just isn't cutting it. It's got be tough to live up to that standard.

Agreed. I wonder how the FIA will apply the punishment here? To severe, and Renault mght pull out of the championship altogether.

I doubt the FIA cares. A new team calling itself Lotus will be taking BMW's spot on the grid, and the same day that was announced, news broke that there is a buyer for BMW Sauber. FIA wants to expand the grid to make room to keep BMW, but if that doesn't happen, they can just give Renault the boot. Renault has been hinting they were planning on quitting anyway. This is really a no-lose for the FIA.

For the FIA there is a big upside, in that Max got to schidtcan Flavor-Flavio before he leaves the presidency.

Well they quit after two Japanese and one German team.

On edit, now that I think about it, they also quit after Italian and British teams.
