It will not be available in my lifetime. If it were I would have come back to tell myself several things in addition to the existence of a time machine.

Obviously it will never be possible, or someone from the future would have come back already to change the last election......

It is impossible - if it could be made it would have been and we would have someone/thing from the future (1 minute, 1 year, 1 deacde, 1 millions years into the future) visit us. They haven't nor can they.

The only way to change the past to to re-write it...

Oh...how do you know that they haven't? Would we know? Even if Mr. Future Man was walking through Central Park, would anyone around even notice?
