Same as dropping the same stuff in your yard, but not as bad as allowing my dog to defecate in your tomato patch.

How about just tossing it into a plastic bag in your car until you can dispose of it properly? Hmmm, I've always wondered about peach, olive, dates, and nectarine pits; litter or next tree? I'm sure some people think banana peels, in an optimum growing environment, creates the next banana tree. Don't saddle your brain with decisions like this. I suggest a trash bag.
