Received my repro drivers side cowl I purchased on ebay from American Muscle Car Parts. Quick shipping and very responsive to email. The piece is a perfect fit and much bigger than I need.

Now the hard part.....making the inner cowl panel to mount the windshield wiper mechanism. I also need to fill in the cowl vents. Seems this is done on most 64' dodges due to the pooling of water causing this kind of rust.

I was just about to tackle the front cowl when my cheap pneumatic body saw broke. So I switched over to adding a lil POR-15 to the cars known problem areas and also applied some body filler (Everlast Rage) to the spots that I welded up. FYI prepped the whole car with OSPHO and mineral spirits prior to any body work.

Are the flamethrowers functional?

All the parts are there but they didnt work when I tried them. Probably just need new plugs. Not really my cup-o-tea but I'm leaving the kit in there just in case I get bored one day. Probably going to cut back the exhaust and dump it with turn downs. Not feeling the rear exit tips for this car. Any ideas?

Daytona-syle side dumps ahead of the rear wheels would look sweet--not sure how your rear-seat passengers would like them though.

Starting working on the inner cowl. The only place you can see it is if you go under the dash and pull the insulation pad down so looks are not that important, but a good seal is.

About 70% done. Still need to weld in some little bits and grind it all down, but definitely some forward progress.
