Houston-area Pelican, anyone up from drinks/dinner?

I'm flying to Houston on Sunday (10/04) for business there Tues. and Wed. I'll probably drive to Austin Sunday night and meet with clients there on Mon. Anyway, I'll certainly be in Houston Mon. and Tues. nights, possibly Sunday. Anyone up for dinner and some cold ones?

Not sure I'll be there except for late Sunday night, as I'd have to head back to Houston after my meetings on Monday. But I still don't have any meetings in Austin lined up, so it could be a light day.

I still don't have a single firm meeting nailed down and need about 10-15 to justify this trip. Looking kinda bad for Austin, so I might be in Houston the whole time. I'll probably stay at or near the Westin for an industry event there on Wed. Will update as things firm up.

Yes, the Westin Galleria. I'll be in touch as soon as I firm up a hotel and when/if I'm going to Austin. Will have this all done by tomorrow night. I'm 100% in Houston on Tues. night and 95% there on Mon. night. Just not sure about Sunday yet.

Do you want college bar kinda drinks, or classy British pub kinda drinks, or TexMex restaurant kinda drinks? I'm probably closest to the Galleria, and can suggest places based on what the mood is.
