Jim Bremner, Joe Bob, Brando, Craigster and lowyder993s (Jim) and I went shooting at Oak Tree Gun Club in Santa Clarita a year or more ago. We had a great time. I think its time again. Anyone game? I'd be willing to go somewhere else in SoCal if its more convenient. Bring all your weapons of mass destruction!!

Post your interest!! Anywhere in SoCal is fine with me. I'll organize. I'd prefer a place where I can shoot anything. not just skeet or trap.

Hugh - Don't you have enough acreage to shoot at your place out in the trees?
I took Joe Bob shooting in the woods across the county road from my house last year when he was passing thru......He is quite the Marksman......

Would be nice to shoot out doors with old Russian steel core ammo ... Mosin style. Got lots to burn. I only know of a place that's closer to N San Diego and rather warm. Open for a drive to meet some Pelicans!

When Hugh? I just got my AR-15 sighted in and still have tons of 9mm ammo for my hi-point that everyone loved.

OK, I'll throw out a couple of dates, Saturday or Sunday, May 2 or 3 at Oak Tree Gun Club in Santa Clarita. We can do pistols, rifles, skeet, and trap. Lunch and or beer afterwards at Chuys. Sending PMs to a few other locals.

PM on that Sunday is good for me. No steel ammo, no drinking before going on the range.
I can do BBQ at my house about a mile, or two away from Oak Tree afterwards, or we can go to Chuy's.

18 acres of canyons, mostly uphill, not a good place to shoot, and I'm in the City Limits.

PM on Sunday and BBQ after sounds great. I'll bring some old antique Winchesters and a couple hand cannons….maybe dust off the Bushmaster XM15.
