Anyone Remember Kay Parker 80's Legend ?
I stumbled across her (via the net) the other day in the original Taboo series. I always thought she was hot and looked liked she really got "into" her characters.
Also her early movies were really well done and were more like a real story/movie than the crap that passes for art/porn today ? Comments ?

I have been "told" she did a racing themed movie and was shot at Ontario Speedway. She had to do the car owner in the team RV. Ron Jeremy was the dirty car owner. Go figure.

Kay Parker was in the first p0rn I ever saw... 'Tomboy' on VHS, found at the intersection of high tension lines and the street I grew up on. People were always leaving porn there. At age 10, we already knew the area as 'Hustler Alley.'
She played 'Mrs Robinson' in tomboy and seduced her friend's son. lol.

Not bad, considering the lifestyle that someone in porn in the '80s would have lead. The funny thing is, no one knew until one of the guys I work with recognized her distinctive voice and said "I think ****** used to be a porn actress" we didn't believe him till he brought Taboo in and showed us.
She's a very nice lady, who doesn't acknowledge her "acting" past at all.

In a conversation I had with her I mentioned how I liked working behind the camera and had done some background extra work when they needed another med student, paramedic, concerned onlooker, etc. but didn't much care for it. With a perfectly straight face she said "I'd never want work in front of the camera, never have and never will".
I can respect her desire to leave the past behind and just move forward. Some of the people I work along side are ex child actors, musicians (Iggy Pop, Wall of Voodoo, Dinosaur Junior, etc.), sons and brothers of famous people and if they want to tell the stories that's fine, if they want to lay low that's fine too. We all have our sordid secrets.
