Curious to know if any of you guys have driven a Noble?
Looks intriguing and affordable. Any opinions and/or experiences? EP Slick - NOBama Territory ![]()

Their HQ is just down the street...now called "Rossion" ( Rossion – Performance Redefined). If you would like me to take a test-spin for you, just holler!

I failed to bring a camera to our last Coffee and Cars, but there was both a Noble and a Rossion parked next to each other. Variations on a theme, it was fun having them side by side and comparing all of the slight evolutions between them.

No, but an instructor buddy at the local track was not impressed.

I've never driven a Noble, but I know a naughty car when I see one.
That car is very, very naughty and needs a good spanking! angela

I did
I drove one in the fall of 2004 in Cincinnati when they offered the Noble M12 GT3 or whatever it was called. It was the predecessor to the M400 and the now Rossion. The car was extremely light with great acceleration given its 2300 lbs weight and twin turbo 360+hp Duratec V-6. Dean Rosen took me out for a little spin around their suburban Cinci distribution center and then let me take a drive back to the show room. The car was a ton of fun, extremely quick, felt like it had a great bite on the road and would definitely blow the doors off any naturally aspirated Porsche. I've never driven a Porsche Turbo but my guess is it was comparable to a 911 Turbo. I had a shxx-eatin' grin on my face the entire time that lasted the whole 3 hour drive home.
While the car was fun to drive, there were many issues that were difficult to digest given the price. The overall fit & finish of the car at the time including the interior, clunky shifter, windows that rolled half down was very kit-car-ish and did not justify the $80-100k price, starting at $56k as or roller. Don't get me wrong, the car was a ton of fun and I'd like to have one but for the money you can buy just about anything including a used 911 GT3 or a Turbo. Now as those M12's are 4-5 years old they have depreciated to half their original cost, but so has everything else. No warranties - YMMV
