Thanks trek,

One of them got a serious scar in the cheapo paint during balancing... Could have been one of the tire shop guys... Could have been one of dads employees as he sent them with one of his trucks... IDK... Oh well just track wheels....

bagh. The pre-87 cars never look like they have the correct offset wheels in the rear.

Loooks good, but needs more rubber...
My colored wheels..

Oh hush... It still goes around corners mighty fine and goes like stink in a straight line...

trekkor 11-13-2009 09:24 PM

Just do a quick touch-up.
Spray the paint on a paper plate, use a little paint brush to fix it.
Should match fine and no masking!

Besides, the rubber was free.... Take what you can get. :)

Nice choice. I would have suggested black.

Exactly... It will still outperform my driving skills....

Dueller 11-14-2009 07:25 AM

EXCELENT...now go bring us some hardware home this weekend,

Gooch1971 11-14-2009 09:05 AM

Looks good. I should see you tomorrow.

porsche4life 11-14-2009 11:29 AM

Hooray Chad is coming back out lol...

Yup I will see you unless it is wet... If I get up and its wet tomorrow or fixing to rain... I'm going back to bed. These tires won't grip in the wet... and my street tires won't grip at autocross dry....

Geronimo '74 11-14-2009 11:38 AM

Sid, how about some spacers???

Looks great though!

porsche4life 11-14-2009 11:41 AM

Ahh.... I'm not too worried about it with these wheels... It just looks bad b/c these tires are tiny.

It doesn't look like that on street wheels.

porsche4life 11-14-2009 09:47 PM

Lets hope for no rain tomorrow...

Went and got the trailer today... Hooked up the lights... Hmm why are there no lights... Eff...

Crawled under the trailer... FARKING mouse had chewed on all the wires. It was all shorted out.... So dad and I just spent 4hrs rewiring the trailer.... Good thing he keeps all that stuff in stock...

Looks pretty good from here, but how 'bout another photo of 'em on a sunny day... those are kinda dark.

Hope you wake up to a dry day and get to run... run smooth, run fast, and most of all, have fun. :)

P.S. I see y'all have some solar panels on the roof of your garage... what do y'all run with 'em?

Noah930 11-14-2009 11:11 PM

Looks good. Much better than the clown car livery I imagined when you said you wanted red and yellow.

porsche4life 11-15-2009 08:57 AM

Welp boys. Woke up this morning and it was about 40 with rain on the way. Said eff it and went back to bed. Now to wait another month...

Noah930 11-15-2009 11:38 AM

What was that FB post you had about being a pansy, again?
