Anyone used Termidor SC? Does it work, any comment? Anything else better?
Thanks.

One of the best, if not best, termiticide on the market. I don't think there is any product or method of termite control that is more effective short of burning your house down. This stuff works.

Thanks. Will get this one.

One more question. Instead of digging holes to pour the thing in each several years, I am thinking of using short section PVC pipes, like those white electrical pipe as home depot, to stick them in the ground for around 3"-4". Pouring the termidor SC in those pipes once every year. This way I don't have to dig holes every time I do it. Good idea? Any thought?

The 2 pros I have used previously applied Termidor after trenching around the foundation, drilling though any patios, walkways, and along the interior wall of the garage. Now, they don't even trench around the house. They soak the ground well with 2 applications. They still drill and fill the other areas.

IIRC, the most important aspect is ensuring you have a continuous barrier (no gaps) around your home. If you can accomplish this with the pvc pipes, go for it. I really don't know if it is sufficient. For the money you're saving, you could simply retreat the entire perimeter of the home once a year or perhaps once every other year, but it'd be serious overkill.

Thanks for opinion but maybe I wasn't clear. The PVC pipe is not for saving $$ but saving time. What I am saying about the PVC pipes is to ground them there and cover them with some caps. When I need to do it again in the future, I just have to open the cap and fill them, without drilling and reconcrete the holes again.

rnln - why would you be planning a treatment every year? isn't one application good for around 10 years?

I don't know. I just think, since I am starting this time, drilling the concrete and do all that. Why not prepare so I don't have to repeat again. If 10 years is good enough, why not do it 5 years for better. Just a thought.

While searching for "termidor SC" I also see the similar bottle, little darker, said "termidor SC insecticide". Now confused on which one works better for termite. Anyone expereinced both?
