Ok for my Psychology class we are supposed to identify 3 developmental issues for each of the following age groups. All I ask is that if you fall into one of the categories or your kids do you post some of the issues your age group deals with.

Eyesight, up close, is about shot... arm adjustment no longer brings the words into focus.
Joints, especially knees, ache like heck the day before it rains and hurt like all hell on the rainy days.
Pretty young girls now call me "Sir" which reminds me of my age. (48)

30 - 40.

yes on the eyes, and i no longer can eat 3 plates full at thanksgiving. and the joints get worse when i do not have beer in the diet. i really think beer helps joints.

what to do after high school
drug and alcohol use

picking a carer / finding an 'adult' job
marriage

Some of the older groups might have to deal with death (friends, family, SO), kids moving out of the house, retirement.

The teacher suggested talking to people in those age groups.... So thats what I am doing....

you are "internetting" with people who claim to be in certain age groups, but really aren't

for example, I am 87 but the issues in my assumed age group are dealing with fractious girl fights in my harem

having college student think that posting on an internet forum is the same as TALKING to people in those age groups.

if you really want get the answer you have to get out there and get face to face with your subjects

I know its not the same as actually talking to those people... I also realize that to get this done by thursday and get all my other homework done this would be more time efficient... Seemed to me you guys could answer a civil question....

Trying to "develop" a way to retire in this economy.

Trying to figure out a way around getting older, while dragging my aging body along with me.
