BR, yakima has some badass kayak options. one even canitevers the rack down to you, and uses hydralics (i think) to pull the boat up to the car. saves from back injuries.
i went bass fishing with a sea kayak once. we strapped two boats onto the deck of my bro's bass boat, cruised as deep as we dared with the bassboat, and launched with the sea kayaks. took some getting use to casting so low in the water, but it was a blast. even a relatively small white bass can tow you along. retreiving a snag is fun.

Wow. The Yakima website is amazing. Thanks a lot guys. It looks that for seldom use I'll just throw it up ontop and lash it down. I am only about 5 miles from saltwater anyways.
I am worried about the tie down in the back. The front has two tow hooks, but the back only has one on the left.
