Am I a racialist because I don't like African girls?

I find some black women attractive just like I find some women of other races good looking. However, African women don't do it for me. I'm talking National Geographic dark, dark skinned women. The combo of skin color, nappy hair and yellowish teeth just don't turn me on. When I was younger though, I used to hide my Grandpa's Nat'l Geo mags under my bed and lust at the nekidness. Having seen and enjoyed a few pairs of breasts since then however, I wonder what the heck riled up my young loins.

Have I become a racialist or just more discerning?

I'm the same way, except I find MOST Black women unattractive. The ones that are, are smokin' hot though! I prefer dark skin, dark eyes, and dark hair. The pastey white girls are a HUGE turnoff. With or without tats. I guess I'm a centralist!

I personally feel that beauty can be found in anyone regardless of their skin color.

I have seen photos of and those in person that are very dark skinned, ie: your "National Geographic dark, dark skinned women." Some are quite beautiful and I have found women from the continent of Africa to be quite regal in their deportment.
It is more the way the person - female or male - carries theirself, their confidence level, etc. that adds to the "total package" called "beauty." Good genetics won't always carry the load.

Are you, as you say, a "racialist?" Perhaps. But since I don't know you I can only base my opinion on the statement you made concerning "nappy hair and yellowish teeth." That, I'm sure many would agree, is more a hygeine issue than a race issue.

Are you more discerning in your choice of women?

I think we are naturally drawn to our own types,
when I was in Sri Lanka last 2 times I found even the plain girls VERY attractive.

I guess being brought up as a baby, you are close to your mother, so the love and attention you got was from her, hence that kinda carries on.

My wife is SL just like me although I kinda got the best of both worlds,
she was born and raised in SL, with all the good parts of home (looking after familly/men/cooking/asian values) BUT lived in dubai (since her 20's) and more recently in Canada, so shes also intelligent (a manager for a global company) and no walk over.

best compromise of East/West appreciation and attitutudes.

Well stated...I would only add that trying to through a blanket over a continent concerning beauty is a bit odd. I would say you can't even do that with a country, size independent.

In Spain, where my mother's family is from, the tone and temper of some remarkable beautiful women varies by town...

If that is all he said, it wouldn't be. When he goes on to make stereotypical descriptions, that's where some might question the underlying beliefs/motives.

I have yet to meet a woman from any country, let alone continent, that I didn't think was beautiful. And I also have yet to meet a woman from any country who drove me nuts and made me wish I were somewhere else...
