Ginko Biloba-anyone using this?
A conversation with a co-worker today got me to thinking about taking this supplement.
He claims it has increased his ability to focus on things better. Anyone here using it? Have you seen any benefit from it? Is it a stimulant?safe? I read some packages at the drugstore tonight but came away with nothing. The pharmacist was busy with many customers so I wasn't able to speak to him about it. I already take a BP pill and a multi-vitamin daily so I wouldn't want to endanger my health. Thanks,

It is supposed to improve memory too..
I would take it, but I keep forgetting to pick it up.

The estrogen pre-cursor (within ginko) has been linked to man - breasts.

![]() Yes I use it. Find that it does help with thinking and clearness. If I am flying somewhere "interesting" and the copilot is not the sharpest in the world will take one or two of them so that I am more "on top" of things. Ginko works for me... have not needed the little blue pill yet. Can still drive nails with that part of the body and remember it the next day, without the ginko.

I don´t eat it, but I love the tree itself. Its beautiful, particularly in fall and have a very interesting history. The only species left of its kind from the dinosaur era. I have planted a few of them in my garden.

I eat it in soups and desserts, fairly common ingrident in Chinese food (not the chop suey variety). Too much might poison you.

Ahhh.... the offer is usually extended to single females. In your case I would have brought a hammer, but always seem to have a backup just in case. ![]()

Turns out that my usual Ginko was 35 mg each and the local version was 95 mg. They were just too strong for my feeble mind and it showed.

There was a great study a while back measuring alertness, mental acuity and memory. They compared Ginko to a ******* cup of coffee. Guess what?
