To all you Veterans
I'd like to take a moment - after coming back from covering the largest Veteran's Day parade in the country - to say a heartfelt Thank You to all you men and women who have served our country over the years.
I don't care when or where you served. If you flew a P-51, a C-130, a B-1 or a desk; I don't care if you did nothing but blow revelee on a bugle or cook S.O.S. or fight nothing but "the wars on Rush Street in Chicago" as so many a sailor did. You were there. You deserve our thanks. God bless you all.

Amen to that!
On a personal note, my dad (Vietnam vet) was born on veteran's day. I think it's the only birthday I consistently remember. ![]()
