Any good summer plans?

I've got 3 "must do's" this summer and am finalizing my first now.

1. Take the 73 to Hershey April 24 and from there visit some Pelican friends on my way to MN for the week, visit more on the way back.

2. Museum trip to DC, most likely in August.

3. Get down to NYC as much as possible.


What's on your agenda this summer? Any good vacation plans?

Wife wants to go on a summer vacation - maybe Vegas, girl friend needs some outdoor attention (thinking Canadian Rockies) and mistress wants a week in the Hamptons or Newport.

Tagging along w/ my H/S buddy while he works at World Super Bike at the Nurburgring, then 2 days driving the Nordschliefe.

I am currently planning a bit of a whitewater kayaking trip/expedition in northern Ontario. There are 8 of us planning on going and the trip will see a lot of class 3 and 4 rapids with a few decent drops thrown in for good measure. Its the most challenging river off of the north shore of lake superior so its going to be an interesting trip especially considering all the gear for 4 days of camping has to be loaded into the boats. The highlight (aside from running the rapids) will be Denison Falls close to the end of the trip.

Sounds like you should have them all go away the same week and give you a rest!

Taking the kids to a water park for a few days but that's about it. We aren't big on vacationing.

Last year, I was unemployed so we didn't do anything but visit family on the east side of Michigan(we'll still do this as it's cheap).

We intend to do more PCA driving events together this year so we can have some "no kids" days.

Road trip to SoCal (not in the 73E ) in the spring. A trip to Spain or Italy this fall. Usually we don't do this much traveling in one year.
