Miller was on fire in between the pipes (except for that 3rd goal--that was cr@p). Great game. Fast, clean, well-played on both sides. And that 5th goal, although an empty-netter was all about heart. He had no business getting to the puck like that.

Just finished it up, very good game. With embarrassment I don't know who Ryan Miller plays for but he played one helluva game.

+1 I was saying that when he scored. He was 3 feet behind the defender!

Almost all of the games have been good. The Swiss and Canada was the best I've seen in a long time. The U.S. team seemed to be dominated at times but had the hotter goalie tonight, and played with a lot of heart.

the last 3 minutes were agonizing! of course I was conflicted rooting against Brodeur but I had to. Miller was fabulous!

Missed it, babysitting, saw the high lights, although, with the way NBC has the tape delay...nah, I know how it comes out. Who had the US for top seed in the office pool?

I think that was the first televised hockey game I have seen being played in Canada that did not have a Tim Horton's (Un ami sur la route)ad on the boards.

Swiss and Canada had the bar buzzing. Tonight was a disappointment for Canada but it was an awesome game. Miller is fantastic.

Brodeur had a pretty poor game IMHO. Misshandled a few pucks and was scrambling a bunch. Give the US credit though, they were the better team.

Quarter-finals for USA -- against Russia. Canada has to go through Germany first. I think Team Canada needs the extra game to fnd a better rythm.

It was an epic game -- and the best goalie won

Great game at this level of hockey you need great a goaltender, timely goals and the Americans got both. Canada can't lose another one that is a understatement of epic proportions(lol) desperate hockey can yield great results it starts Tuesday.
