A Corvaro, or a Camarvette...

I often peruse my local craigslist listings and have ran into this a few times. Always makes me laugh. Enjoy...

That's worth at least $500,000 on eBay.

I always love it when someone lists their wreck for sale, with the explanation that they need the room, or they have financial issues, but wait! they'll trade for something else, like a Street Rod, or a Dune Buggy or a Boat. Yeah, Right.
This fool and his mom and his neighbors are tired of looking at the POS out on the lawn. He would let this monstrosity go for a 12 pak of beer and a bag of pork rinds.

One of our stupid neighbors threw a whole pumpkin over our fence last week. The pumpkin split on impact. My 70 lb Labradoodle, Jinx, ATE the dang thing...

The pumpkin-seed topped gifts she left in the yard over the next few days have more style and better quality of materials than that car.

$50,000 invested and he stuck a crappy 305 ci engine in it?!!!

I don't think the engine could move that POS outof the driveway let alone actually manage to spin ANY set of tires.

Smoke another piece of crack, buddy.

lol. according to the ad, this monstrosity was built by "the original builder of the Mako Shark Corvette and designer of the Dodge Viper."
(i can't even type it without laughing)

Actually there is a bit of truth (sorta) to the Silva/viper connection. Silva and Chrysler got into a pi$$ing contest over the Viper design. Supposed in 1987 Silva sent chrysler some sketches and a proposal to build one for htem. In 1988 Chrysler embarked on building the viper. Subsequently, Silva was going to customize a corvette that looked much like the Viper. Chrysler sued Silva for design infringement and Silva counterclaimed. Silva actually won on the first round but then he died and Chrysler won on appeal after his death. I think the case died with Silva.

Case: Chrysler Corp. v. Silva

as to the Mako Shark claim, apparently Silva ran a company building kits to turn vettes into Mako ShaRK REPLICAS. http://www.makoshark2.com/history.php

Whether he was invcolved with the CL monstosity I don't know.
