I call photoshop on that cameltoe. That's just way too over the top, especially for us humble Canucks :)

I can change the tires on my car can change its oil, do a tune up, brakes etc etc.. My brother on the otherhand had to ask my dad how to check the tire pressure on his car after I had commented that one of the tires looked low. I did take autoshop in high school but most of my learning has been out of necessity or desire to learn. Some people just dont have that desire.

a few months ago..i was pissed off about something. bad mood!

a car came and stopped near my home. i peeked out. it was a woman with a flat. young male with her. they were clueless. i sat back down to sulk. after a few minutes, i grabbed my floor jack, and electric impact and sockets, and went out. dragging a floor jack on asphalt does very little to cheer anyone up. :)...anyways, i changed out her tire, and wrapped it all back up, and stuck her flat tire into the trunk. young male, remained clueless...my mood lightened up, right after that. getting out and moving cheered me up. it was good for all.

The no spare tire thing sucks. Run-flats. there fine - they give safety advantages but they don't completely negate the need for a spare.

I drove a bmw 135i yesterday. Salesman said no spare for mileage reasons. BS! Run flats are heavier where is counts the most. They are spec'd more and more as a spare, a jack, and wrench are expensive. Cost cutting is king.

Heh.. interesting story-

today while I'm at work, my roomate gets a knock on the door. Black girl from next door says her car battery is dead. So Zach goes over there and jumps her car for her, and she just lets it run for a while to charge up. She says thanks, and then, out of the blue, says-

"You smoke weed?"

Zach says no... no he doesn't.. and girl replies

"Oh cuz I was wonderin if you just wanted to come over and smoke some weed. Aight, later."

Zach comes back in, I'm home now, and he is like "We live in an amazing neighborhood."

If I had a flat on the interstate (day or night), I'd pull way over and hit the thing up with Fix-a-Flat, but if that didn't do the job, I'd gladly limp along on the rim until I was able to get up a ramp to a safe area and out of danger.

I've told both my sons to do this. Daughter-in-Law, too. Wifey doesn't do interstates, but she knows not to stop in a questionable area at night. I'll gladly pay for a new rim.

You beat me to it. That's exactly what I was going to say.

I'll also add, depending on the car, a new rim may be cheaper than a tow truck!
