I was on the field video taping 1984, when Kevin Murray, our star QB at Texas A&M broke his leg in the last pre-season game. There was a picture, similar to this, that showed his leg at a very wrong extreme angle. It was on the front page of most of the local Texas papers.
 As a passing note, I was racked by the football on the opening kickoff in that game, as it bounced out of the end zone.

Unfortunately I know all to well what that feels like. Mine was from a 65 Dodge hitting me head on while driving my motorcycle. Double compound fracture of the tibia & fibula. I didn't know if I'd have my leg let alone ever walk right again. Well I've run a half marathon and am other wise fine. My ankle bothers me more so than the leg. It didn't align very well. I think he can play again.
