reminds me of an old sega racing game where one of the tracks had a loop in it cant remember the name though.

Think you're talking about "Hard Driving" Was an amazing game for its time, the arcade version was a huge thing that looked like a Ferrari, complete with clutch and stick.

Maybe they could be built in to off ramps on busy motorways to take the boredom out of long comutes, or to clear busy interestions quicker.
