Vampires? Why so hot these days?
Is it a testomony of our times? A fascination with the dark side? Or is it becasue of one pulp fiction work hit then a few series on cable, then a move - sorta like the whole Star Wars phenom?
So why vampires now?

It's interesting, I was reading some of the original Dracula novel by Bram Stoker...written way before Westerners knew what vampires were by and large. In the original novel, Dracula is an evil and hideous thing...nothing romantic about him. Now he has evolved into a handsome aristocrat or a boy toy for pre-teen girls..anyway Nosferatu is much closer to the mythological "vampires" of Eastern European folklore than any modern novel/movie. They are popular now because Twilight is bringing in the bank, and others want to cash in on the craze while it lasts, IMO.

Not sure.
Maybe "Mr. I-spin-goth-chicks-on-the-end of-my-dick-all-day-long" will enlighten us. And maybe not.

Want to know what gun was used in a TV show or movie?
http://www.imfdb.org/index.php?title=Main_Page --> Internet Firearms Movie Database. And yes, according to the link, she uses a couple of Walther P99 and a couple of modified Beretta 92FS

Several factors, but I believe aggressive marketing is the key. Make sure the right people say the right thing in the right media. Flows across the globe like a giant fire before it dies of natural causes (despite being vampires..).

Aside from the original Dracula being a hideous, evil thing, the whole Vampire mythos is based in sexuality. Comes a resurgence every 10 years or so.
I used to make dental acrylic, snap-in "fangs" like they use in films. I've dealt with people of avery age, race, color, creed, and religion. People (especially women) find it extremely erotic. Here's a good example of my work. I retired from it about eight years ago. ![]()
