Awesome! Make sure you get your troops NRA memberships as well. :)

Part of the membership to the range(s) is NRA membership and unlimited access to NRA instructors.

Plus, one of the ranges in the membership is open 24/7.

Proper training is a must before the first round is fired!

There is a part of me that is insulted by the fact that NYC makes it so difficult to obtain a R/S or pistol permit to law abiding citizens, but all the bad guy scum out there are packing all kinds of handguns and don't give a F for anyone's life. Because of this I feel an obligation to excercise my right under the second ammendment and not to be denied just because of where I choose to live!

I'm a American and would fight and if need be die in her defense, I pay my taxes, never committed a crime, never had a run in with the law, vote, attend jury duty and yet because of where I live it is very difficult to obtain a permit even for home/target.

Just based on principle and if I never fire a weapon, even for sport I want a permit!

Good for you. Be glad you don't live in Chicago. Come January when the SCOTUS hears the McDonald v Chicago case things may start to change for Chicago and NY.

Mike, whether its cars or guns... just hope for the best for you..

Freeport PBA has a really great range and allow long guns... I was a member for years.. My Bro being a Freeport cop still is..

I had a pistol permit for years... lost interest and gave it up...Even in NY you can exercise your rights...As a business owner you should be able to get a carry permit easily.

I can't imagine what a pain it must be to shoot/hunt around/near brooklynn
Duck season opened a few weeks ago.. sounded like a heavy firefight for the first day.. I live about a mile from open bay.. hunting rules say 1/4 mile or so for duck...
We have turkey season and more than one deer season... ie bow etc..

Hey Tim,

I'll contact you in regard to the Freeport range.

It's been a rough few months. I am just starting to feel somewhat stronger. I know that I truly will not be able to do the track thing, it just takes too much out of me.

Jr, Patti and I want to do a sport together that has challange. So shooting it is. Thanks for the good thoughts.
