If you use those lithium 123 batteries that are crazy expensive you can get them from botach.com for $1 each if you buy 20 at a time.

I've got a Surfire 6P and a 6R. The 6R is the rechargable (and slightly longer) verion of the 6P, and gets the most use. I've basterdized it with the CREE 5-mode LED bulb, and crenulated bezel (you know, in case someone ever wanted to invade my personal space without permission, hehe). The battery lasts forever between charges, and the thing is super-bright on it's max setting (good spot/spill ratio too). The LED has a built-in micro processor with 3 different levels of illumination, plus strobe & SOS:
