Yeah I know, but I don't use it enough to buy the large cap mags. I just wish I would have waited and got one with rails.

That 229 on the Nevada board, both barrels, 4 mags, holster, 40 S&W ammo, about $650. Only thing, that juan was from the bunny ranch (well used).

I bought a used Sig P226 in .40S&W and .357Sig with 2 mags, case, etc... for $700 last year at my local gun shop/range. It's a former LEO's gun that was reconditioned by Sig and came with a refurb warranty and brand-new barrels. I really like changing the caliber by just changing the barrels. Shoots nice and handles my reloads just fine.

IMO for self defense modern ammunition makes any caliber above 9mm unnecessary. Every single military on earth seems to agree.
