Danica to NASCAR
Probably been beaten to death in another thread but
Dang this ought to boost ratings. Titled who will Danica square off on this week. How will the likes of Kyle Busch or some other rowdy red neck take to 98 pounds of this chic getting in their face.

It was my understanding that she would remain in IndyCar and drive part-time in the Nationwide series.

Seen it in the headlines of the local paper. Hey I live in the south, "it it required to know who is driving what car and thier number" as well as where they are in the points.

I think it's a good move. Lots of money in Nascar. Indy cars are not as cool as F1 (or AMLS for that matter).
Indy car racing is kind of the worst place to be, IMO. It's kind of like Nascar in how the races feel, and the cars just aren't that cool at all. What's will all the Honda engines, anyway? Does anybody actually watch that series other than the Indy 500? Good luck, Danica.

Nope, Indy car sux. But I will get up at 3am to watch F1. and will stop all weekend work to watch the cup cars road race. ALMS / Rolex, Oh yea watch it too.

Isn't anyone else absolutely sick of "Danica"?
If she wasn't "cute" (YMMV) and marketable she'd be just another mediocre driver.. Danica, Marco, Michael, TK and Dario (Buddy Rice in 05) were sponsored by our company back in '05-'07, (actually all of AGR) and she never showed up to one of our corporate sponsor functions, "busy with other prior engagements"... Riiigghhttt When our company resigned the sponsorship contract they cut all of our salaries admittedly to keep our sponsorship of AGR and thus (according to the kool-aid drinking executives) "ensure our company benefits from their success".. ...We were out of business by Fall of 07, the same year Dario won the Indy 500  What's going to happen once she gets stuffed into the wall by some of the good ole boys...  Rant over.... moving along

Weren't some other F1 drivers supposed to coming over to NASCAR this year?
Scott Speed and JPM have done pretty well.... As for Danica, she did good her rookie year when she secured the pole for the Indy 500. But she's been a solid middle-of-the-pack driver in a spec car series. She's probably a better race car driver than most of us, and she is better than at least 50% of the grid in IndyCar, but she honestly hasn't done much in her four years in the series. She's one what? One race? She qualifies well and then tends to fade back in the grid. I think she has stagnated in IndyCar. Hopefully taking on a new series will make her a better driver. I'd like to see her succeed, but she really hasn't done much yet.
