You think? C-boys looked tough (but lost), and the Saints almost lost.

Isn't that like being "Almost" pregnant? Kidding. ![]() OK. Never thought I'd live long enough to see it. I was there back in the "bag on the heads" days, but I am so very happy to see N.O. at 13-0! Laissez les Bon Temps Rouler!!!!!

Agreed. They have some very loyal fans, they deserve some joy for a change.
I've never been a big saints fan but don't have anything against them, if they go all the way I'll root for them. I played center in high school and the quarterback on that team (Dave Wilson)went on to play for the saints, their number 1 pick. The guy threw for over 600 yards in one game against ohio state in college. He blew out his knee his rookie season and spent most the next 8 years carrying a clip board on the side lines. He got in some games and ended up throwing for almost 7000 yards but never shined enuogh to lose the back-up status. Kind of a dissapopintment until you think about it. He was in the NFL for 9 or 10 years, prolly made good money, and didn't get all banged up like the rest of the guys. Not a bad way to make bank if you ask me. |

I went to the first game in the Dome after Katrina...truly emotional.
The 'aints have their preseason camp here in Jackson. A lot of the players come to wife's restaurant/pub during camp. Now retired Deuce McAllister was/is a regular. Bar interior is festooned with a bunch of Saint's memorabilia/signed jersey's etc.
