If you started a business what would it be?

I am curious what types of businesses people would start or buy. Assuming funding and time was available. Thanks for your imput.

chain of "authentic" Asian grocery stores that are clean, well-lit, have clear explanations on the shelves for the odder goods as well as cooking classes so you know how to use the ingredients. Focus on Indian, Chinese and Japanese.

In the lower 48, hook up with the government/Acorn and build low income housing with their money and make millions using their contractors. A perpetual job because in five years when they fall to the ground you can do it all again with tax money.

I've always wanted to open either my own surfshop and shape my own boards, or i want to open my own restaurant on the water with a big deck over the water with docking for boats.

I plan on opening a business in 2010. But its so boring I refuse to tell you what it is.

My dream business? Manufacturing an ultra high end AK-47 variant here in the USA. Something that would sell for $2-3k. All forged and milled. The bolt carrier would be a piece of art.

Sports bar/ laundromat. Or an "Internet Cafe" type of babysitting service geared towards 9-15 y.o. kids. Parents can dump them off with their computers or cell phones and they can surf/text to their little hearts content. Figuring out a "rate sheet" with add ons is what I've got to figure out.

THIS! Genius!

I love going to the Japanese supermarket where at least 5 different foods are labeled "Fish Cake" and they are all wildly different colors.
