exciting new spoon.
An exciting new spoon I couldn't wait to show off.
It's second hand but looks like new and I'm not expecting any problems with it. True story: I'd barely even unwrapped it and I was dying to try it out so I spied the sugar bowl in the kitchen and approached, probably more stealthily other than stalking it. Either way it didn't see me coming. The spoon was perfectly balanced in my hand. Much better than any other spoon I've used, and certainly better than the other spoons in the draw. Anyway, I sliped the spoon into the sugar and lifted it out. Without any practice, I repeat, without any practice I probably picked up 300 grains of sugar in one go. I was probably to excited to count them so I just dropped them straight into my coffee. It was good. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1261000480.jpg |
I really gotta get into this spoon stuff. Could become a fetish! Makes me want to go to the Flea Market and find a real relic. One man's junk,,,,,,,just sayin'.
PS. That 300 mg crap is just that. Ur braggin' in the wind. |
Looks like you found a nice one! I am not into those new fangled plastic spoons, they remind me of something made by Mattel....:D
|
Spoon Man!
|
When you think you're really good, try 300mg with a slotted spoon and then talk to me.
|
I'm more of a spork man myself.
I found some cool brass steampunk sporks the other day... |
Or man up and try a fork. Herecy? Maybe, but I'm a troublemaker!
|
I'm telling you, you can't go wrong with a spork.
It won't work with every meal well, but it will work with every meal, and it eliminates the need for specialized utensils. |
A spork makes a great assault spoon... sooner or later they will be outlawed....
|
Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm thinking of working my way up to a fork - maybe even a spork when I'm older (I'm only 50).
|
You're in Aus, right? Is that what the bad guys there carry?
|
Bill that was pretty damn funny!
|
I embarrassed my brother at the table so bad he went out the next day and sold his spoon and got one like mine with a stainless bowl and handle. Don't beleive all the stuff you hear. I love my old spoon to this day!
|
Is that a single-action spoon? Hard to tell from the picture...
|
Please, Bill. Please. Be Careful!!

Thanks for your support guys I knew you'd care. Todd it's a bit like a glock; double action for the first shot then just keep pullin' the trigger.
Here in New Zealand the bad guys are only allowed pop guns. |

Welcome to the 21st century. Black polymer spoon, ultra reliable and tacticool. Drag it in mud and it will still work everytime.

That's a beaut, alf. I prefer the traditional KFC white ones, myself. None of that fancy schmancy black as night, ninja tactical stuff for me.
