any chatter about the dying kids wish to watch the movie "UP"?

i heard the news. PIXAR stepped up and gave a private screening of "UP" to some kid seven hours before she passed. i think it would have been hard to be the PIXAR rep to take the DVD over there. it would have been sad.

good folks over there.

Yeah, I added to the bottom of a previous UP discussion about sorrow, but it deserves it's own topic. I haven't seen the movie yet, but the story about that little girl is a real tear jerker. Life just isn't fair sometimes.

Some special thanks

First 10 or so minutes of that movie is worth the price of admission alone.

just watched the movie. it was great! there was a screaming child in the theater, but even that got washed out with the fantastic story.

glad the girl got to watch the move.

Great movie. I took my niece over the summer. It will be something we'll buy to keep around the house.

Saw it on the plane back from London last week. PIXAR knocked another one out of the ballpark. The first ten minutes made me think long and hard about my marriage with a wonderful women. To that other thread about cheating, never and after 26 years we still "do it' 3-4 times a week, passionately, I might add. Squirrel! I loved that.

I wouldn't think so... The 3yr old probably won't catch on to the subtleties that make it a sad movie... I would think they would still like it though...

Have you seen Astro Boy yet? If not, here's your warning, Jr gets vaporized about 10 minutes in.

My son got this for Christmas so we watched it last night with the entire family.

Great movie even though the beginning is so sad.

If you are married and have not watched this I would encourage you to sit down with your spouse and watch it.

Oh yeah.........
