2010: Twenty-ten, or Two Thousand Ten?
 

I think "twenty ten" makes the most sense, but I find myself saying, "two thousand ten."

I find myself saying both.

One of the local car dealers has been advertising their new oh-10's. :-)

The "ONE-OH", dawg. Werd.

Two Thousand Ten would be grammatically correct (no 'And').

However, we said Nineteen Ninety, so I'm going with Twenty Ten.

The better question is what do we call this decade? The teens? Saying that you lived through the "teens" doesn't sound nearly as cool as "I live through the 80's" for some reason.

I guess if you said "twenty-nine" last year; then "twenty-ten" is appropriate. Otherwise...

Big Olympic year for us here in BC, Canada 'eh.
It's been coined Twenty Ten for some time.

During our year-end meeting at work our chairman repeatedly said "twenty thousand ten". Pretty funny.

Remember the song, "In the Year Twenty-Five Twenty-Five"? Twenty-Ten sounds right.

I spoke of the past 9 years as "oh - one" through "oh - nine" so "oh - ten" works for me.
