What is This Place?
I need to know. I've been around the area quite a bit, and it's got me real curious. I was pokin' around looking at sat. images of local ski hills and stumbled upon it.

Originally, it was AMC's proving grounds. MGA does Tier One certifications for o.e.m. suppliers to the Big Three and other auto companies. They use the grounds to beat the crap out of tires, suspension components, and a whole host of other vehicle parts. That facility is pretty beat up, rough roads, etc. I think they allow private groups to use the skidpad and wetpad for autocrosses and similar events.
