Any information on a Caliper Corporation personality test?

I am required to take the exam online and was wondering what to expect. Has anybody taken this exam? What should I expect?

Probably a 16PF or variant that defines your general outlook. I've taken these a number of times for kicks, as I worked for a place that administered them. Generally accurate, rarely damaging.

Though there was one question on a test in our repetoire I laughingly remember:

"I prefer...
a) A flower in a field,
b) spending time with my family,
c) The smell of a well-oiled gun."

Yep. Most certainly a 16PF variant. I can tell you to answer honestly because if they bump you based on this, you wouldn't want to work there. Additionally if you try and answer what you THINK they want, you might end up on a scale of being overly aggressive, judging, etc.. which would be just as bad as being unmotivated. There are typically many similar questions to tease out anomalies.

it is suppose to take 1.5 to 2.0 hours long.

It is a consulting firm so you can't just take it, unless you want to be me for 2 hours

I took the test last night. Some parts were typical personality test questions where it seems to ask the same question 50 times just worded differently. In all there were about 275 questions. There was a section of questions asking about sequence of letters and numbers. There were others asking which groups of numbers/letters doesn't belong.

There was only 1 question i know I got wrong and 1 other I was slightly unsure of.

All in all it was a couple hours of my life I will never get back. There were other things I would have rather been doing on a Friday night.

this is probably a different one but I found it quite good. It is focuses more on your likes and dislikes and spits out career matches. For me it really confirmed why I havent liked any of my jobs and that I should be doing something different.
