Picked up a set of 1st Class Recaro's....

My company had a seat sale up in MKE yesterday. Since I had other work obligations, I couldn't make it, but one of our flight attendants rented a trailer and brought a set back for me!

1st class seats, made by Recaro. I tossed them down in my party room for now, but I'll figure something to do with them!

I try to shy away from anything aviation related being displayed in my house, but I couldn't pass these up. (they were $50 for the pair). Now I just have to figure out what to do with them!

If you lived in Denver you could sell tickets to folks who wanted to become members of the mile high club (w/o leaving the ground)

Isn't that console thingy going to get in the way of your gear shift lever when you install them in your car?

On the other hand, if you ever drive into a lake the life vest underneath will come in handy.

That's funny, because I was thinking about tossing them in my E30 (my absolute winter beater) as a joke.

As a note: I've done tests on seat cushions. They are supposed to float for a minimum of 8 hours. I can say with conviction that most will NOT. As seats age, the foam membrane breaks down, and the buoyancy is diminished!

Put them in the back of a pick-up.

Rig 'em so they sit high enough to overlook a pool table...
