I have to admit I started that thread. It was then and remains the longest thread I started - brings a tear to my eye it does :)
Seams like it was a 72 though IIRC, and that it was an ebay ad that got me started. |
D'oh - 73!
David, you innocently started a Pelican Classic! :D
That was a classic thread, I remeber how he would boast about dusting 911 turbos. What a hearty laugh that thread was. Wonder where that guy and his magic S are now?
Trader...he's the seller of the one on ebay...the one that started this thread...
Uh, would you buy a used car from this man??? |
LoL you're kidding me. Yea let me rush right over with a bag of cash so he can insult me and tell tall tails about his cars. IIRC he can buy and sell anyone here.
If he's such a big Malibu Exec why is he flipping cars on Ebay... Look at his buys and sells and who he has many transactions with. It looks like he shill bids some of his listings under the other names he has since the same name bids up some of his cars and gets stuck making it look like a sale.

What happened to the 2.4?
It would be a 2.2 in 1971. And I agree, a 3.0 liter (early) SC motor is a fine mill but the car is hardly a 2.2 911S anymore. A couple of short years ago, that was a $10k car and they grew on trees.
I'm sure everyone knows what i'm going to say, so i'll just skip saying it. :)
so far, only the one "bid" of $22,000...
I'm surprised no one has bid on this one:
Is this the guy that somebody posted the satellite view of their house after they wouldn't quit talking like a high roller?
I thought that was Snowman?
