Might not be entirely kid-friendly, but Antonio's at Sand Lake - 7559 West Sand Lake Road, Orlando (407) 363-9191 has the best fried calamari appetizer I have ever had. I have been there 3 times with consistent results. Big portions & good food.
Vito's Chop House is very good for steak as is the Charley's location on Orange Blossom. Ian

When I worked in Orlando for a couple of weeks, I made repeat visits to Bubbalou's Bodacious BBQ. Mmmmmm....good....
