Will do, I know...I haven't driven the Porsche in a while because of weather. I've tried to convince the wife to move out west (I'd like Vegas) but that's a no-go, she's a native Missourian...ah well

I was as well until spending some time in Arizona. Wait until it snows and ices over there, then come on out to Vegas or AZ and spend some time in the sun. Only takes a few days then return home. It usually makes them think really hard about how much you really need to stay "in the tundra!"

Yeah we are planning a trip to Vegas, so we'll see how strong her Missouri roots are.

Thumbs up PCNA needs to do a better job of asking for clear input from it's members.

As stated:

At the end of the day it's about the people you meet along that long road, and PCA is a big part of that!

People make the local region and are the best (and maybe only) reason at all to retain our memberships as being run by national. I'm part of a very large region where we have north and south breakfast meeting and event are spread within the region. But it takes a lot of people to make it all work; and not everyone is always happy with his or her current board. If you want to change it, raise your hand and volunteer to do something about it! I do agree that the older cars (members) are being pushed out or to more honest "OverloOKed"! The parade has been a jOKe for years and Pano needs an overhaul>it's over it's 200,000 miles rebuild! Race and rally events are something I attend, support, enter, setup and volunteer my time; but thats not for everyone one in the club. Many like the social events>the wine and cheese faction; I'm OK with that too; everyone has a reason for being a member! PCNA needs to do a better job of asking for clear input from it's members. If PCNA does ask, we the members need to reply with our honest professional input!

Let me clear this up... PCNA= Porsche Cars North America. They have exactly nothing to do with PCA or its activities.....

But yes PCA national needs some work and to focus a little more on the older cars.... One way to get word to national is talk to your club president and have him or yourself contact your Zone Rep. They are in place to be the go between for the regions and national. If you have an idea, shoot your zone rep and email. Worst that could happen is he deletes it.....

I serve on the board in the local region. I can honestly say that I have never had a club member shoot me an email or phone call with an event suggestion. In fact in all the board meetings I have been to I haven't seen a member come with any suggestions. If you don't like the way something is being done, SPEAK UP!
