Today the rains are accompanied by thunder. I haven't heard thunder since the late 80's.

we had an unusual winter rain on sunday....YAY! enough salt was washed off that I might beable to get the scooter out tomorrow

I just got an automated message from my son's school about a tornado warning.

Didn't anyone get the memo? This is SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA DAMMIT!
We deal with the traffic and overcrowding and illegals and high taxes so we don't have to deal with WEATHER!

I'm gonna write a letter to someone about this.

Just got back from taking my trailer back to the RV storage lot in Lake Forest. Flooded intersections everywhere with trapped cars. We saw water coming up over hoods onto the windshields. The large intersection near my house has several cars that have been displaced into each other and up on the median. Pretty bad.
