Hatchback = awesome. More room than a sedan. Everything else though, not so good. Sadly the Honda has to match up with the Toyota Venza, which is actually pretty damn good looking.

All ugliness aside though, the Honda has a better roofline than the Panamera.

It is amazing what car companies go through to avoid making a STATION WAGON. Why can't we have station wagons back? Mini Vans, SUVs, Crossovers, 4 door hatchbacks - they all excuses for not making a station wagon. Are people still shying away from station wagons?

Isn't a shooting brake a two-door station wagon? Kinda like the M Coupe (the Z3/4 with the station wagon back)?

Apparently, historically there's no distinction made on that basis - '46 Alvis 4 door, Cayman 2 door:

Just saw an ad for the Crosstour in a magazine and did a doubletake. I wondered if anyone had compared it to the Panamera. Didn't take me long to find this on a web site:

I just have trouble believing that this shape is really going to catch on with the motoring public. I picture this being something we look back on in 10 years and laugh about.

I for one like the Panam... Its just too much $$$....

Now that Honda... Ehh.... Does nothing for me...

I think Wagons are cool... My folks had a Jetta TDI wagon in '04-'06. It was great... They loved it...

I love my Passat wagon, and when I bought it there were only 5 or 6 wagons on the market, mostly made by BMW, Mercedes and Audi. Subaru was the only Japanese option and the Dodge magnum was the only USA brand.

Let's face it the minivan has taken over the wagon market.

IMO the Honda isn't ugly, has good proportions from that angle. In fact I would say it's a pretty decent looking hatch, of which I am a big fan.
