I felt the same way about the new Ford Taurus SHO. Very well built and fun! Very 545i'esq.

I drove a SHO once, a 5sp. It was a fun car, but it the interior was still *really* chintzy. This car doesn't have the old GM chintzyness that always turned me off Bonnevilles & Grand Ams

When the G8 GTP starts showing up as a cheap used car, I'll be all over it. Typical GM, they make a good car then kill it.
